I am a postdoctoral researcher.  I am interested in the physical and chemical  processes around the stellar surface and the circumstellar envelope of evolved giants.  Now  I am constructing the numerical code for MHD wind models from evolved giants including  the effects of stellar pulsation and turbulent pressure.

I am an Indian PhD student studying star forming clouds. Currently I am investigating the effects of magnetic fields in cloud cloud collision in order to better understand massive star formation. This work is done using magneto-hydrodyamical(MHD) simulations.

I study the star formation in barred spiral galaxies in simulations. Recent observations of barred spiral galaxies suggest that it is more difficult to form stars in bar regions than in spiral regions. I am trying to explain this with my models and comparing with observations.
